What it covers
CMOS transistor theory and operation, the design and implementation of CMOS circuits, the fabrication process, layout and physical design, delay and power models, static and dynamic logic families, testing and verification, and memory. The companion lab work covers circuit-level design and simulation, layout and parasitic extraction, and both full-custom and synthesis-based flows on industry CAD tools.
It builds from the bottom: what a transistor actually does, then what it costs in delay and power, and only then the circuit families that trade one against the other. The lab assignments are not here — these are the lecture decks.
